CLIMATE CONTROL

The ability to quickly and accurately regulate the climate within a glasshouse is paramount to the success of growing.

With the ENVI environmental controller you are given the ability to fine tune and closely control your climate. This can be as simple as activating fans or heaters when the glasshouse is too hot, cold or humid. Using our smart system we can manage the climate by either activating/deactivating fans, heaters or by integrating to the venting and screening within the glasshouse.

Our system enables users to set a different desired temperature and/or humidity for both day and night, once set the system will automatically control all aspects of the glasshouse leaving you comfortable in the knowledge that your plants will be perfectly controlled.

The climate control system offers;

·         Heater control and activation
·         Venting control
·         Screening control
·         Data logging of temperatures both inside and out
·         Alarm notifications for high/low temperature or humidity

VENTING

Whilst the ENVI controller offers full climate control using fans and heaters etc it is often the case that the regulation of the vents is all that is required to adjust the temperature or humidity within your glasshouse.

Our smart system finely regulates the opening and closing of your vents based on a single temperature or humidity requirement.

All venting control systems include the ENVI weather station, a unit that integrates to our control system to provide live wind speed, direction, outdoor temperature, humidity, a rain sensor and also calculates sun rise and sun set times. Using these ever changing variables along with your desired temperature setting we can monitor and control your venting 24 hours a day 365 days a year.

Vents will automatically open and configure themselves to lee and wind, ensuring the correct flow is achieved. Automatic detection of rain and monitoring of wind speeds will close the vents without any user interaction to ensure all plants are kept safe and windows avoid damage from high wind and weather conditions.

As with all ENVI control systems the settings are quickly and simply configured either via our built in touch screen or by our remote web platform allowing users to not only configure their glasshouse for different contents locally but also to monitor and ensure their safety anywhere in the world.

Many growers will know that the constant change in the environment and the age of motors to control the vents can often lose their tolerance so the ENVI controller offers a quick and simple 3-step configuration tool to re-calibrate older or calibrate replacement motors controlling your vents ensuring that accurate opening and closing is achieved.

IRRIGATION

The Envi Systems irrigation control allows you to schedule and accurately time your watering cycles in a quick and simple process. Completely adaptable via the clear and straight forward HMI touch panel or remotely via your PC, our system is infinity flexible offering you the ability to link groups of valves to specific watering start times and durations, in real time and at a moments notice.

With the unique flexibility of our valve grouping and the ability to control different groups for times based on varying plant requirements we can ensure that your crop receives the exact amount of water required and also saves you energy and money by removing the threat of over-watering.

Using the modular format of the ENVI you can control multiple valves via a single control panel, multiple control panels controlling multiple valves and, if required, plug and play expandability should your layout change or your nursery grow.

SCREENING

Screening is yet another way in which to maintain the climate and control your growing within your glasshouse.

Screening, whether vertical, horizontal or based in the apex offers the control and amount of solar radiation (sunlight) provided to your plants, some of which find too much or too little harmful to growing.

Our Envi smart controller can monitor, in real time, the levels of solar radiation within your glasshouse and adjust the screening position to suit your growing requirements, we can also create our own sunrise/sunset control to mimic the natural growing environment required for your plants.

All times, settings and requirements can be quickly and simply adjusted meaning you can change and adapt the lighting conditions when plants reach different stages in their growing cycle or a different plant is placed within the glasshouse.
